The app relinks museum items to their relevant locations, forging vibrant connections between visitors, stories, artefacts and the town.
Local place managers have also curated nature trails, public art and dinosaur sculpture hunts to suit all ages, providing immersive experiences beyond conventional sightseeing. They have used the Place Experience Platform to show Maidstone’s impact on inspiring luminaries such as Samuel Pepys, Charles Dickens and David Bowie, enriching visitors’ understanding of the town’s cultural significance.
